Managing Student IDs + Student Enrollment or Disenrollment
This video will walk you through the process of managing student IDs so that students will not have the same ID number. You will also learn how to disenroll and re-enroll a student from your class.
*Note that the Portal will no longer duplicate Student IDs- each student will retain their own, unique Student ID, even if they are disenrolled and/or re-enrolled from a class, and will retain the integrity of any assessment data.
Instructions for disenrolling students from a class:
- Choose your desired class.
- Click on the student's name.
- Click the "Trash Can" image in the top right-hand corner.
- Choose "Delete."
*Note that assessment data remains available for any student enrolled at the time of testing, even if they are later disenrolled.
To re-enroll a student to a class:
- Choose your desired class.
- Click "Enroll Student."
- Type in the student's unique Student ID.
- Ensure the name matches the Student ID.
- Click "Enroll."
- Your student has now been added back to your class!
*Note that all previously assigned assessments and assignments remain visible in the student’s Portal and in your data. Completed items will continue to show as "Done."
