Terms of Use for EB Transferable District License
An EB Academics District License (“District License”) is available and priced per teacher, per school year, with commitment options ranging from 1 to 5 years available for purchase. A District License may be purchased at any time during the school year; however, the school term is valid from August 1 through July 31, regardless of when the purchase is made.
When purchasing midway through the school year (for the current year), schools may be eligible to inquire about the EB Pilot Program and may purchase at a discounted rate for the remainder of the school year.
Purchase Orders will be accepted. Access to the ELA Portal Dashboard, including all student materials and teacher resources, will be granted upon receipt of payment by check, credit card, or ACH. Teachers may utilize all resources while the license is active. Once a license expires, any materials printed or downloaded during the license period are no longer authorized for use.
District Licenses belong to the school or district and may be transferred to a different teacher in the same position at no additional cost as needed throughout the contract period. License transfers must be requested by emailing schools@ebacademics.com.
The District License is offered in the following access tiers:
All-Access License
Includes all teacher and student materials, a virtual onboarding call, weekly virtual office hours, and email support. It also includes access to the student portal with assessments, more than 50 hours of on-demand Professional Development, and a season pass to all virtual Professional Development workshops for all teachers licensed under the district, including Batch Planning Live (two 10-hour events). Recordings of each live, virtual Professional Development event will be available for 30 days following the event.
Data Privacy and Security Brief - Comprehensive Data Privacy, Security, and Compliance Plan and/or signed Data Privacy Agreement available upon request.
Pro-Tier Access License
Includes all teacher and student materials, access to email support, and more than 50 hours of on-demand Professional Development.
Essentials Access License
Includes the teacher and student materials found in the EB Suggested Yearlong Scope and Sequence, including the EB Core Curriculum Programs (Reading, Writing, Grammar, and Vocabulary), access to email support, and more than 50 hours of on-demand Professional Development.
The resources included in an EB Academics District License may only be used in conjunction with an active District License. If the license is not renewed by July 31, access to the EB Academics Dashboard will be revoked, and teachers will no longer have rights to utilize any resources in the classroom, including materials that were previously printed or downloaded.
It is against the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to share any resources with teachers outside the District License. Unauthorized sharing or distribution of any EB Academics resources is prohibited under applicable U.S. copyright laws. Only the currently assigned license holder(s) may access the dashboard and utilize the resources included in the program.
Failure to comply with these Terms of Use may result in termination of access without a refund and, in some cases, pursuit of legal action.
