How do I turn a PowerPoint into Google Slides?

We have quite the selection of digital resources! And sometimes you need to use a specific system for certain digital resources. But not everyone uses the same systems. In this case, you may have a PowerPoint file, but want or need to use Google Slides instead.

Here are the steps to help you convert your PowerPoint file to Google Slides.

How to convert a PowerPoint to Google Slides:

Step 1 - From your Google Drive, Select "New" in the upper left-hand corner.

Step 2 - Select "File upload."

Step 3 - Choose the PowerPoint file you're needing to convert.


Step 4 - Once uploaded, click on the file in the bottom right-hand corner.

Step 6 - Once Google Slides opens, select "File."


Step 7 - Select "Save as Google Slides."

Boom! You're all done! Give yourself a pat on the back!
